The agreement, secured through the United States Tennis Association\u2019s (USTA) media rights agency IMG, will bring all matches from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center to Indian audiences via Star Sports Network and JioHotstar.<\/p>\n<p>Sony Pictures Networks India previously held the media rights holder for the property. <\/p>\n<p>As one of the four Grand Slam tournaments, the US Open is a major event in the global tennis calendar. Under this deal, viewers in India will be able to watch the entire tournament, including the men\u2019s and women\u2019s singles main draws, which will take place over 15 days. <\/p>\n<p>Top players set to compete this year include Carlos Alcaraz, Iga \u015awi\u0105tek, Novak Djokovic, and Coco Gauff. Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka return as the defending champions in the men\u2019s and women\u2019s singles categories.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament will also feature a new format for the US Open Mixed Doubles Championship, with 16 teams competing for a prize of US$1 million. The draw includes several high-profile pairings: Alcaraz with Emma Raducanu, Sinner with Emma Navarro, \u015awi\u0105tek with Casper Ruud, Djokovic with Olga Danilovic, and Venus Williams with Reilly Opelka. Ben Shelton will play alongside doubles world No. 1 Taylor Townsend, while defending champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori are also set to participate. <\/p>\n<p>JioStar plans to enhance its coverage through features such as multi-language commentary and behind-the-scenes content.
