{"id":951539,"date":"2025-07-31T18:26:19","date_gmt":"2025-07-31T12:56:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/?p=951539"},"modified":"2025-08-01T06:45:16","modified_gmt":"2025-08-01T01:15:16","slug":"vodafone-ideas-5g-services-now-live-in-17-cities-nationwide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/2025\/07\/31\/vodafone-ideas-5g-services-now-live-in-17-cities-nationwide\/","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone Idea&#8217;s 5G services now live in 17 cities nationwide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vodafone Idea on Thursday said it is now providing commercial fifth-generation (5G) services in 17 cities nationwide. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018With the latest additions, Vi 5G now spans 17 cities across key circles including Mumbai, Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat and Kerala,\u2019 Vi said in a statement. <\/p>\n<p>India\u2019s third-largest telco recently launched 5G in several cities, including Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nashik, Kozhikode and Malappuram, following roll-outs earlier this month in Mysuru, Nagpur, Jaipur and Sonipat. <\/p>\n<p>Vi said it is also set to launch 5G in Meerut, Vizag, Madurai, and Agra in the coming days. <\/p>\n<p>This is part of Vi\u2019s phased 5G rollout across 17 priority circles where it holds 5G spectrum. The company had commenced its 5G rollout in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, and Patna.<\/p>\n<p>As per the telco, in cities with the Vi 5G network, over 70% of eligible users have already experienced the benefits of Vi\u2019s next-generation network, indicating a positive reception and growing demand.<\/p>\n<p>Vi said users in the launched cities with 5G-enabled devices can access its 5G services immediately.
