Cloud computing and managed services provider ESDS and the Central Electronics Limited (CEL) will jointly construct a 30MW data center in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad. <\/p>\n
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister (CM) of Uttar Pradesh, and Jitendra Singh, union minister of state (independent charge) for science & technology, earth sciences, and minister of state in the Prime Minister’s Office, department of space and atomic energy, on Thursday laid the foundation stone for the data center. <\/p>\n
Adityanath stated that the data center would not only enhance Uttar Pradesh\u2019s digital capabilities but also serve as a decisive step towards \u201cAtmanirbhar Bharat\u201d, according to a media statement. He emphasised that the initiative will generate employment for youth and contribute to India\u2019s journey towards digital sovereignty. <\/p>\n
The data center will be scalable to 200 racks per floor, and will offer 40Gbps ring fibre with multi-internet service provider (ISP) support, as well as, dual 10Gbps links for Cloud and disaster recovery (DR) replication. <\/p>\n
