Eternal Ltd has reported a consolidated net profit of \u20b939 crore for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025 (FY25), marking a 77 per cent decline from the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.<\/p>\n
The food delivery major, Eternal\u2014formerly known as Zomato\u2014reported revenue from operations at \u20b95,833 crore.<\/p>\n
\u201cBlinkit is on track to reach 2,000 stores by December 2025. However, food delivery growth remains below our expectations for now,\u201d the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Eternal also announced the shutdown of its services Zomato Quick and Everyday, citing the absence of a clear path to profitability. <\/p>\n
Total income rose over 60 per cent to \u20b96,201 crore compared to the fourth quarter of the previous financial year. <\/p>\n
The decline in net profit has been attributed to a significant rise in expenses. The company’s total expenses grew by 63 per cent to \u20b96,104 crore.<\/p>\n
For FY25, revenue from operations increased by 67 per cent to \u20b920,243 crore. Similarly, total income rose by 64 per cent to \u20b921,320 crore.<\/p>\n
The company’s net profit for FY25 surged by 139 per cent to \u20b9697 crore.<\/p>\n
Speaking on profitability, Chief Financial Officer Akshant Goyal said: \u201cNet Order Value (NOV) of our B2C businesses grew 53 per cent year-on-year (YoY) and 5 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to \u20b917,440 crore in Q4FY25. On a like-for-like basis\u2014excluding the impact of the Paytm entertainment ticketing business acquisition\u2014NOV growth was 48 per cent YoY and 5 per cent QoQ.\u201d <\/p>\n
