As of 2024, India is home to 591 million gamers &#8211; around 20 pc of the global 3.4 billion user base. In terms of app downloads, India leads the world with 8.6 billion mobile game downloads, accounting for 15.1 pc of global gaming app downloads. These numbers place India ahead of both the United States (4.3 billion), and Brazil (4.2 billion) combined.
