{"id":922848,"date":"2025-04-16T17:30:01","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T12:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/?p=922848"},"modified":"2025-04-16T17:40:50","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T12:10:50","slug":"realme-partners-optiemus-electronics-to-make-aiot-products-in-india-targets-5-mn-units-annually","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/2025\/04\/16\/realme-partners-optiemus-electronics-to-make-aiot-products-in-india-targets-5-mn-units-annually\/","title":{"rendered":"Realme partners Optiemus Electronics to make AIoT products in India, targets 5 mn units annually"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Smartphone brand Realme has partnered with homegrown Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL) to manufacture Realme\u2019s artificial IoT (AIoT) products in India, including earphones, smartwatches, and tablets. <\/p>\n<p>From this year, key products such as the Realme Buds T200 series, Realme Buds Wireless series, and Realme Buds Air series will start rolling off local production lines, the companies said in a joint statement Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>Together, Realme and OEL aim to manufacture 5 million AIoT devices annually while generating over 2,000 new employment opportunities in India. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018This partnership will also contribute to the creation of a stronger local supply chain and skilled workforce to support high-volume and high-quality production,\u2019 the companies said. <\/p>\n<p>OEL has already commenced the production of the Realme Buds T200 Lite. <\/p>\n<p>Realme and OEL, however, did not disclose the financials of their partnership.<\/p>\n<p>Parallelly, the smartphone brand said it is boosting its efforts to domestically source crucial components in India, including PCBAs, batteries, mechanics, cables, and chargers. <\/p>\n<p>As per the statement, Realme is also evaluating opportunities to export Made-in-India AIoT products to global markets, establishing India not just as a manufacturing base but also as a global hub for innovation and production. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018We are excited to partner with Optiemus Electronics Ltd. (OEL) to bring the manufacturing of all our high-performance and value-for-money AIoT devices to India. This collaboration will enable us to expand our manufacturing base to cater to domestic demand, while also reinforcing our commitment to the Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) initiative,\u2019 a Realme spokesperson said. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018We are thrilled to sign up this partnership with realme as we believe in realme\u2019s philosophy of \u201cMake it real.\u201d The fusion of AI and IoT is making hearable-wearable products and power devices smarter, more efficient and thus deliver a great value.
