The partnership will leverage Infosys&#8217; AI-first services, including Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt, to enhance Spark&#8217;s technology delivery model and reduce IT operating costs. <\/p>\n<p>Infosys will provide advanced DevOps and software engineering capabilities to build, test, integrate, and support Spark&#8217;s systems and applications, according to a company statement. <\/p>\n<p>Matt Bain, Data and Marketing Director at Spark, highlighted the firm&#8217;s 16-year-old relationship with Infosys and emphasised how this extended partnership will allow Spark to focus on its technology strategy while leveraging Infosys&#8217; global scale and AI innovations. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are now building on this relationship to allow our teams to focus on our technology strategy and the product roadmaps that will grow our competitive advantage while leveraging Infosys&#8217; global scale to execute these plans quickly and efficiently, and accessing Infosys&#8217; investment in AI and innovation to enable us to keep delivering great experiences for our customers,&#8221; Bain said. <\/p>\n<p>Spark will retain control over its IT architecture, product design, and innovation roadmap. <\/p>\n<p>As part of the agreement, Infosys will also enhance its local workforce to complement its global operations and ensure that critical local support and expertise are retained in New Zealand. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our global capabilities and innovative solutions will aim to deliver significant cost efficiencies, and over time we will work together to enhance customer experience through AI-driven insights and automation,&#8221; Raja Shah, EVP and Industry Head, Global Markets, Infosys, said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indian IT major Infosys on Wednesday announced a partnership with Spark New Zealand, a telecommunications and digital services company, to drive digital transformation and reduce operating costs for Spark.
