{"id":916553,"date":"2025-03-24T17:40:40","date_gmt":"2025-03-24T12:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/?p=916553"},"modified":"2025-03-24T21:53:42","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T16:23:42","slug":"reliance-jios-next-big-bets-ai-fwa-6g","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/2025\/03\/24\/reliance-jios-next-big-bets-ai-fwa-6g\/","title":{"rendered":"Reliance Jio&#8217;s next big bets &#8211; AI, FWA &#038; 6G"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With India now leading global data consumption, Reliance Jio is preparing for the next wave of telecom innovation powered by AI, fixed wireless access (FWA), and a clear path to 6G.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are standing at the cusp of yet another revolution or rather two revolutions,\u201d said Ayush Bhatnagar, Senior Vice President at Reliance Jio, pointing to AI and the evolution from 5G to 5G Advanced and eventually 6G.<\/p>\n<p>Jio has already announced partnerships with Nokia, Cisco, and AMD to develop an open telecom AI platform.<\/p>\n<p>JioBrain, the enterprise suite which offers AI-as-a-service, will embed AI agents directly into the network. \u201cGone will be the days when we will operate networks using scripts and complex algorithms. Everything will move to natural language processing\u2026 We will be able to converse with our network and drive operations with our speech alone,\u201d he said at the ET Telecom Congress 2025. <\/p>\n<p>Jio is now implementing 11 AI-driven initiatives through JioBrain to improve network efficiency, from predictive maintenance to energy optimization. \u201cAI taken together with Enterprise 5G provides a unique customer value proposition,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>He recounted Jio\u2019s journey in building the world&#8217;s largest 5G network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we started deploying 5G in October of 2022, India was nowhere on the map of technology,\u201d Bhatnagar recalled. \u201cThere were deployments in China and the US, but India was still trailing this technology.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since then, Jio has built what it claims is the world\u2019s largest 5G network, lighting up a 5G cell \u201cevery 60 seconds\u201d at the peak of its rollout.
