{"id":900207,"date":"2025-01-27T17:51:42","date_gmt":"2025-01-27T12:21:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/?p=900207"},"modified":"2025-01-28T07:07:40","modified_gmt":"2025-01-28T01:37:40","slug":"optiemus-electronics-to-domestically-manufacture-network-gear-smart-home-devices-for-tp-link","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/2025\/01\/27\/optiemus-electronics-to-domestically-manufacture-network-gear-smart-home-devices-for-tp-link\/","title":{"rendered":"Optiemus Electronics to domestically manufacture network gear, smart home devices for TP-Link"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Contract electronics maker Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL) has partnered with US-based TP-Link to manufacture the latter\u2019s networking equipment and smart home devices in India. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis collaboration reinforces TP-Link\u2019s commitment towards the \u2018Make in India\u2019 vision and bolsters India\u2019s resolve to become the global hub for telecom and electronics manufacturing,\u201d the companies said in a joint statement Monday. <\/p>\n<p>OEL will manufacture TP-Link\u2019s telecom and Internet of Things (IoT) products including gigabit passive optical network (GPON) terminals, security and surveillance cameras, home Wi-Fi routers, enterprise routers, modems and gateways, SOHO switches, and other network expansion gear. <\/p>\n<p>These products will be manufactured at OEL\u2019s manufacturing facility, which can produce up to 6 million devices per year.<\/p>\n<p>OEL said it will focus on developing a local supply chain to provide power adapters, mechanical parts, and more components for TP-Link in a bid to reduce import dependencies and provide better control of supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>The production of Made-in-India TP-Link products will commence from February 2025 and finished products will be available for the domestic market by March 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to partner with TP-Link, a globally leading name in networking devices, in line with our strategic vision of forging alliances with global leaders.
