{"id":896561,"date":"2025-01-16T16:57:48","date_gmt":"2025-01-16T11:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/?p=896561"},"modified":"2025-01-16T17:12:05","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T11:42:05","slug":"meity-launches-cyber-security-grand-challenge-2-0-with-%e2%82%b96-85-crore-prize-pool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/2025\/01\/16\/meity-launches-cyber-security-grand-challenge-2-0-with-%e2%82%b96-85-crore-prize-pool\/","title":{"rendered":"MeitY launches &#8216;Cyber Security Grand Challenge 2.0&#8217; with \u20b96.85 crore prize pool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The government on Wednesday launched the \u2018Cyber Security Grand Challenge 2.0\u2019 (CSGC 2.0) with a total prize money of \u20b96.85 crore, more than doubling the amount from \u20b93.2 crore in the first edition.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative will provide mentorship, capability-building and market access to innovators, startups and budding entrepreneurs, aligning with the goals of Digital India, Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat. <\/p>\n<p>A unique feature, the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of the product being developed as part of the challenge, will be owned by the respective startup.<\/p>\n<p>The whole process of \u2018CSGC 2.0\u2019 will run under various stages wherein mentorship will be provided at each stage, said MeitY.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Cyber Security Grand Challenge 2.0 is a major government-backed initiative with a significant amount of prize money of \u20b96.85 crore and a focus on recognising startups offering innovative cybersecurity solutions,\u201d said S.
