On Monday, Nadella met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and praised India\u2019s digital transformation efforts, calling them inspiring. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Nadella expressed admiration for the Indian government\u2019s focus on sustainable and inclusive growth through digitalisation, and pledged Microsoft\u2019s support to help achieve the vision of \u201cDigital India.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the Microsoft Future Ready Leadership Summit in Mumbai, Nadella discussed the growing importance of cloud-based services for energy efficiency and their role in scaling India\u2019s digital infrastructure. He also emphasised the company\u2019s commitment to supporting India\u2019s ecosystem of developers, startups, and businesses, further strengthening Microsoft\u2019s relationship with the country, where it has been operational for over 32 years.<\/p>\n
