Information technology firm Infosys on October 10 announced a “digital transformation” deal with Germany-based e-commerce company Zooplus. The IT giant will also set up a global capability centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. <\/p>\n
“Zooplus will leverage Infosys Topaz, an AI-first offering using generative AI technologies, that will aim to help the company drive AI innovation and growth transform e-commerce capabilities, and enhance operational efficiency,” Infosys said in a release. <\/p>\n
The GCC will leverage Infosys\u2019 data-driven excellence and innovative capabilities to play a pivotal role in transforming Zooplus\u2019 customer experience, significantly enhancing its technology and value-chain capabilities. <\/p>\n
Infosys will help improve Zooplus’ marketing, e-commerce and supply-chain capabilities. The company will support Zooplus by enhancing its expertise in product management, technology, quality, design, and engineering; and set up a new order management system, it said. <\/p>\n
Infosys was selected for its AI-first strategy and its commitment in driving improvements in productivity while achieving cost efficiencies. <\/p>\n
