There are enough reasons to accept his rationale for the multibillion-dollar bet about the company\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<p>For one, it\u2019s the first big corporate wager on Keir Starmer\u2019s promise to \u201ctake the brakes off Britain.\u201d Mittal has said in the past that \u201cthe telecom business is about three things: network, network, network,\u201d and BT\u2019s plans do mesh with that belief.
