The research agency estimated a 4% year-over-year market growth this year, and stated that revenues might grow relatively faster driven by the premiumisation trend, new form factors and capabilities such as foldables and generative AI (GenAI).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe growth in smartphone sales over the last three quarters is good news for the industry. The sales were at the lowest point in a decade in 2023 but the market was quick to rebound thanks to improving consumer sentiments and inventory positions.
