Ramaswamy was speaking at the firm\u2019s \u2018Snowflake Summit 2024\u2019 in San Francisco earlier this week, where the company announced a slew of new technologies that \u201ctake AI to where data resides\u201d. The company also announced a tie up with Nvidia that will allow Snowflake customers and partners to build AI-powered applications. Ramaswamy, an IIT Madras alumnus who was in Google for over 15 years and who was appointed CEO of Snowflake in Feb, spoke to TOI on the sidelines of the summit.
