The advisory is expected to mention that the tech companies  need to get approval from the government before releasing any AI product.<\/p>\n<p>The approval needs to be granted before the public release of AI tools that are \u201cunreliable\u201d or still in a trial phase, and such tools should be labeled for possibly providing inaccurate answers to queries, as per insights from the advisory released by the Indian IT ministry on March 1, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAvailability to the users on Indian Internet must be done so with explicit permission of the Government of India,\u201d the ministry explained.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the advisory mentioned that platforms should see that their tools will not \u201cthreaten the integrity of the electoral process\u201d.
