Palo Alto Networks has launched new enterprise-grade, end-to-end 5G security and services in collaboration with industry partners Celona, Druid, Ataya, Netscout, Nvidia, and NTT Data.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe launch addresses the need and desire for validated 5G integrations and furthers Palo Alto Networks strategic vision of an integrated, ecosystem approach to safeguard 5G deployments,\u201d the cybersecurity firm said on Monday at the Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024).<\/p>\n
Citing a recent company survey, Palo Alto Networks said almost 70% of executives identified 5G-connected devices as a growing threat vector in operational technology (OT), and with 5G expected to contribute $1 trillion to the global economy in 2030, there is urgency to better protect today’s more complex networks, cloud-native solutions, and distributed environments to facilitate this growth.<\/p>\n

According to the company\u2019s statement, organisations deploying new private 5G networks with Celona, Druid, and Ataya can secure their radio networks with Palo Alto Networks\u2019 5G security solution.<\/p>\n
Netscout will enable packet-level network visibility at scale with Palo Alto Networks 5G security, while Nvidia will facilitate scalable 5G security so that artificial intelligence (AI)-powered applications are optimized for speed, security, traffic accuracy, and data isolation to maintain data sovereignty and achieve multi-terabit, cost-effective security for mobile networks.<\/p>\n
