Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia has won an IP core network upgradation and security gateway capacity expansion deal from Bouygues Telecom.<\/p>\n
Under the deal, Nokia will supply its FP5-based IP routers to modernise the telecom operator\u2019s IP core network and expand the capacity of its security gateway solutions. Nokia said the The FP5\u2019s 800GE capability will also accelerate Bouygues Telecom\u2019s ability to scale and sustainably meet future traffic growth.<\/p>\n
Nokia will also evolve Bouygues Telecom\u2019s existing Nokia security gateway services by deploying its FP5 powered, SR-1 routers and the 7750 Extended Services Appliance (ESA) to meet the increased capacity and scalability demands of mobile broadband services.<\/p>\n
