Finland\u2019s Nokia on Monday said it has been selected by Antina Pte Ltd., a joint venture between M1 and StarHub, to deploy a 5G SA Radio Access Network (RAN) sharing network across Singapore. <\/p>\n
Under the partnership, Nokia will provide equipment from its AirScale portfolio and CloudRAN solution to build the 5G SA RAN network infrastructure, using the 3.5GHz band. <\/p>\n
Nokia will also supply 5G base stations and small cells solution for indoor coverage, along with supplying other radio access products. <\/p>\n
Nokia said its CloudRAN technology will help Antina meet evolving customer needs, while the NetAct network management software, will streamline operations and securely manage Antina\u2019s networks. <\/p>\n
The partnership is also expected to enable new use cases across entertainment, cloud gaming, transportation, education, and healthcare. <\/p>\n
