HCL Technologies\u2019 global IT development centre is organising a virtual \u201cMega Recruitment Drive\u201d in Andhra Pradesh\u2019s Vijayawada to hire around 1,000 freshers and experienced professionals. The hiring drive will be held on February 12 and 13, the company said in a press note on Thursday.<\/p>\n
The IT development centre located at Gannavaram in Vijayawada has been operational since February 2020 with nearly 1,500 employees. The centre which is on approximately 30 acres of land was envisaged as part of Andhra Pradesh\u2019s drive to create new IT hubs in the state.<\/p>\n
\u201cHCL Vijayawada is organising a Mega Recruitment Drive on February 12 and February 13, 2021, that will present opportunities to both freshers and experienced professionals to join one of our fastest growing and most exciting New Vistas centres in Vijayawada,\u201d Srimathi Shivashankar, Corporate Vice President, HCL Technologies, said in the press note.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the last four years, our centres in New Vistas locations like Madurai, Lucknow, Nagpur and Vijayawada have nurtured and hired over 15,000 candidates who are now an integral part of HCL Technologies,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
The Vijayawada centre is in sync with the company\u2019s philosophy to create and operate a state-of-the-art global IT development centre; recruit, train and employ local talent and create sustainable ecosystems to retain them, according to the press statement. The centre also houses a skill development unit. HCL Vijayawada focuses on high-end technologies including engineering research and development, application development and product & platforms business.<\/p>\n
The skill centre in Vijayawada can currently train 1,000 people. The recruitment drive will have HCL hiring fresher graduates and experienced professionals with 2-8 years of experience in technologies such as Java, Chip Designing, .Net, Azure, Microservices, SAP, Python, Protocol Development, Networking, DevOps and Automation testing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
