Finland\u2019s Nokia on Thursday extended its partnership with American telco T-Mobile by inking a 5-year deal 5G deal.<\/p>\n
Under the deal, T-mobile will extend its nationwide 5G coverage by leveraging Nokia\u2019s AirScale Radio platform to deploy a high-capacity 5G layer with 2.5GHz Massive MIMO technology.<\/p>\n
Under the new agreement, Nokia will continue to expand T-Mobile\u2019s extended-range (low-band) 5G coverage.<\/p>\n
Nokia will also supply its AirScale radio access solutions\u2013including macro and small cells across low, mid-band, and mmWave spectrum. As part of the deal, Nokia will also enable T-Mobile to upgrade its mid-band LTE network to 5G and continue to expand its extended-range (low-band) 5G network.<\/p>\n
