The first milestone requires successful completion of Acceptance Testing (AT), whereas the second requires commissioning the new system and successfully migrating existing data from the legacy system to the new system.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Further, the state-owned telco said, &#8220;it is observed that the above invoices have been submitted without the requisite AT certificate and supporting documentary evidence received from BSNL confirming completion of commissioning and successful data migration, as applicable.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The development comes close on the heels of BSNL&#8217;s move to shift to a new Selfcare app vendor. Under the mandate, nearly 6 million (60 lakh) users were supposed to be migrated to new platform, provided and operated by RedMango Analytics. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You are requested to cancel the above invoices, wherever required, to avoid any GST-related accounting\/compliance issues, and resubmit the invoices only after fulfilment of the applicable contractual milestones and submission of the requisite supporting documents received from BSNL,&#8221; the letter further added. <\/p>\n<p>Digitral, the Selfcare app provider ceased to offer services from September 30, 2026.<br \/>\nThe non-adhere has led to a queuing up of one time passwords (OTP) required to login to a new app leaving subscribers high and dry. <\/p>\n<p>RedMango did not run any version update or a forced update for seamless migration of existing users. Sources say that about 5 lakh users have moved to the new platform. <\/p>\n<p>The telecom service provider has though communicated through a soft banner about the proposed shutdown, and recommended a migration to a new application. <\/p>\n<p>Query to RedMango did not elicit any response. <\/p>\n<p>The BSNL Selfcare app offers users a unified dashboard with multiple features such as recharge and bill payments, plan puchase, service management, account management, Do Not Disturb (DND) platform, and complaint registering and tracking. <\/p>\n<p>The operator&#8217;s customer-centric app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play store.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has sought to cancel the purchase order (PO) issued to RedMango Analytics, and asked the Mumbai-based firm to return the invoices following non-compliance with the contractual milestones for Selfcare app migration.
