HBL Engineering has been a significant contributor to the development and deployment of KAVACH, securing multiple contracts across Indian Railways. <\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, RAD will deliver a comprehensive management platform. This includes a customised Layer 2 and Layer 3 industrial-grade networking solution for HBL Engineering&#8217;s use in the KAVACH project. The solution is engineered to provide Ethernet connectivity, addressing the networking demands of mission-critical railway infrastructure. <\/p>\n<p>Tuhin Dutta, India country manager at RAD, said, &#8220;We are proud to be associated with HBL Engineering for this prestigious railway project and to contribute RAD\u2019s networking expertise to the KAVACH ecosystem.&#8221; He added that fail-safe communications infrastructure is a critical component for modern railway systems. <\/p>\n<p>MVV Vidyasagar, president (electronics group) at HBL Engineering, said, &#8220;HBL approached RAD for a customised solution meeting Indian Railways\u2019 specific design architecture. It had to meet RDSO standards, certification criteria, and most importantly, comply with the Indian government\u2019s DoT certifications (MTCTE) and security compliances (NSDTS).
