The annual subscription for JioShield is priced at \u20b91,000, equivalent to approximately \u20b983 per month. <\/p>\n
As part of Jio’s 10th-anniversary celebrations, customers subscribing to JioShield will receive several exclusive benefits. These include a \u20b91,000 Jio recharge voucher, redeemable as 10 vouchers of \u20b9100 each on mobility recharges of \u20b9399 and above. Additionally, subscribers get a free 12-month Canva Pro subscription, valued at \u20b94,000, and unlimited 5G data for 28 days. <\/p>\n
JioShield integrates child and elder safety and well-being into a single connected solution. Its key features include location and safety alerts, SOS alerts for emergencies, screen time control, and app and contact management to prevent digital fraud. The service also provides low-battery alerts, ensuring parents are informed when a loved one’s device is running low on power. <\/p>\n
The solution operates through a pair of applications: the JioThings app for parents and the JioShield app for children or elders. Parents can manage screen time, applications, contacts, and track location once the two apps are linked. <\/p>\n
The JioThings app is currently available on Android, with iOS support planned from October 1, 2026. <\/p>\n
The child’s phone requires an Android smartphone running Android 10 or above with an active Jio mobile number. Both parent and child must register with a Jio number to enroll in JioShield. <\/p>\n
