It has also begun clearing some old vendor dues, a source said. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For the first time, MTNL has started paying the SG bond interest on its own, following asset monetisation,&#8221; a person aware of the matter told ET. The person added that the telco has also started repaying old vendor dues. <\/p>\n<p>MTNL has nearly \u20b924,071 crore outstanding in government-backed SG bonds.
