This combination is designed to deliver intelligent, agent-based solutions across the network stack, allowing operators to access high-quality data rapidly, simplifying complex data integration, and significantly reducing time to insight. <\/p>\n<p>Vivek Jaiswal, senior vice president (autonomous networks), Nokia, said that this collaboration brings the right data to telecom operators globally, helping networks evolve into programmable, AI-native platforms. The solution facilitates a transition from fragmented data environments to a more autonomous, scalable model. <\/p>\n<p>Nokia&#8217;s data products, equipped with glass-box data quality controls and telco-specific semantic modeling, ensure transparency and trust in AI-driven decisions. Microsoft Fabric provides a unified data platform with OneLake storage, analytics tools, and AI-native applications like Microsoft 365 Copilot, Foundry, and Power BI. This integration supports broader AI use cases, including automated root-cause analysis and closed-loop operations to improve service quality and efficiency. <\/p>\n<p>The solution is engineered for multi-vendor, cross-domain telecom environments and supports hybrid and cloud infrastructures, including on-premises deployments. This flexibility allows operators to meet regulatory requirements while advancing their AI and automation strategies. It also addresses a significant barrier to AI adoption by reducing the time required to prepare and operationalise data, a process that traditionally takes several weeks. <\/p>\n<p>Silvia Candiani, corporate vice president (worldwide telco &#038; media), Microsoft, said that the readiness of telecom operators to move AI from experimentation into everyday network operations. She highlighted that this requires trusted data, strong governance, and scalable platforms, which the combined Nokia Data Suite and Microsoft Fabric aim to provide, creating a faster path to actionable intelligence from complex network data. <\/p>\n<p>Initial applications include autonomous VoNR (voice over new radio) assurance for detecting and remedying service issues, geo-experience mapping for identifying degraded radio performance and coverage hotspots, and predictive maintenance for anticipating network problems before customer impact.
