{"id":1033819,"date":"2026-09-07T17:44:52","date_gmt":"2026-09-07T12:14:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/?p=1033819"},"modified":"2026-09-08T06:47:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T01:17:15","slug":"bharatnet-phase-3-amilionn-iti-project-surpasses-40-completion-in-himachal-pradesh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/2026\/09\/07\/bharatnet-phase-3-amilionn-iti-project-surpasses-40-completion-in-himachal-pradesh\/","title":{"rendered":"BharatNet Phase 3: Amilionn, ITI project surpasses 40% completion in Himachal Pradesh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amilionn Technologies (ATPL) on Monday said its BharatNet Phase 3 optical fiber deployment in Himachal Pradesh, being executed for ITI Limited, has surpassed 40% completion.<\/p>\n<p>ATPL is a pan-India government technology and infrastructure solutions company.<\/p>\n<p>Commenced in June 2025, the project is building the fiber backbone that will connect Gram Panchayats (GPs) and blocks in the state to high-speed broadband under BharatNet Phase 3.<\/p>\n<p>BharatNet is the Centre\u2019s flagship program to bring reliable connectivity to every GP in India.<\/p>\n<p>BharatNet Phase III in Himachal Pradesh divides the state into seven zones, with networks built on ring architecture and IP-MPLS topology, ensuring that GPs stay connected even if a single route is cut. <\/p>\n<p>Amilionn&#8217;s scope spans 11 blocks of Mandi district: Mandi Sadar, Balh, Bali Chowki, Chauntra, Dharmpur, Drang, Gohar, Gopalpur, Karsog, Seraj and Sundarnagar, some of the most demanding fiber-laying terrain in the country. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBharatNet Phase III is about building that continuity into the country&#8217;s backbone, and every kilometre we light up in Himachal Pradesh extends the foundation on which India&#8217;s next decade of growth, enterprise and education will run,\u201d said Kushal Amilineni, director, Amilionn Technologies.<\/p>\n<p>On the ground, Amilionn&#8217;s teams are trenching armored optical fiber cable underground to specified depths, using horizontal directional drilling to cross roads and obstacles, laying HDPE ducts with protective slabs and pipes, and blowing 24-core fiber through the ducts. <\/p>\n<p>Amilionn has deployed large, multi-disciplinary teams across the project, supported by zone-wise warehouses for materials, right-of-way permits facilitated with ITI and state-run telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), and acceptance testing coordinated with independent engineers, according to the statement. <\/p>\n<p>Once commissioned, the company will operate and maintain the network for three years. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cLaying fiber in Himalayan terrain is among the most demanding infrastructure work in the country, and crossing 40% completion on schedule is a credit to our teams on the ground,\u201d said Harish Amilineni, CMD, Amilionn Technologies. \u201cWe are committed to taking this network through to completion and through three years of operations after that, because connectivity is only as valuable as its uptime.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amilionn Technologies (ATPL) on Monday said its BharatNet Phase 3 optical fiber deployment in Himachal Pradesh, being executed for ITI Limited, has surpassed 40% completion.
