{"id":1026488,"date":"2026-08-05T17:27:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T11:57:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/?p=1026488"},"modified":"2026-08-06T07:10:43","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T01:40:43","slug":"de-cix-partners-adaniconnex-to-deploy-new-pop-at-chennai-1-data-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/2026\/08\/05\/de-cix-partners-adaniconnex-to-deploy-new-pop-at-chennai-1-data-center\/","title":{"rendered":"DE-CIX partners AdaniConneX to deploy new PoP at Chennai 1 data center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Interconnection platform operator DE-CIX will establish a new point-of-presence at AdaniConneX\u2019s Chennai 1 data center under a new partnership as the companies look to deliver low-latency and high-performance digital infrastructure to various entities, according to a media statement released on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>The development comes as enterprises, cloud providers, and digital platforms increasingly seek low-latency, high-performance infrastructure to support data localisation, cloud adoption, and increasingly data-intensive applications across India. <\/p>\n<p>Through the new deployment, customers at Chennai 1 will gain direct access to DE-CIX India&#8217;s internet exchange, cloud connectivity, and enterprise networking services. <\/p>\n<p>The partnership is expected to improve performance, reduce latency, and enhance user experience across digital services. <\/p>\n<p>DE-CIX India operates internet exchanges across major Indian cities, including Mumbai, Delhi National Capital Region (NCR), Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. <\/p>\n<p>The Chennai deployment extends DE-CIX India&#8217;s national interconnection ecosystem, enabling customers to connect with more than 600 networks, including telecom operators, internet service providers, content platforms, and global cloud companies. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;India&#8217;s digital economy is growing at an unprecedented pace. Building data centres is only part of the equation; they must also be seamlessly connected to the networks, cloud platforms and businesses that rely on them,\u201d said Jeyakumar Janakaraj, CEO of AdaniConneX. <\/p>\n<p>The chief executive added that the partnership strengthens the digital ecosystem that enterprises, content providers, and cloud platforms depend on. <\/p>\n<p>AdaniConneX is a joint venture between the Adani Group and EdgeConneX. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur collaboration with AdaniConneX strengthens India\u2019s digital infrastructure.
