The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has, on Saturday, recommended the Software Technology Parks of India\u2019s (STPI) Director-General and CEO, Arvind Kumar, for the post of Director (Consumer Mobility) at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. <\/p>\n
The PESB, under the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), conducted interviews of seven candidates, including Kumar. <\/p>\n
These included Nitin Ravindra Mahajan, principal general manager, Ahmedabad, BSNL; Ramashay Prasad, principal general manager (consumer mobility), BSNL; Sanjeev Singhal, principal general manager (transmission), BSNL; Daya Nand Katyayan, senior general manager (business area head — Faridabad), BSNL; Kamlesh Kukreti, senior general manager, BSNL; and Digamber Kumar, senior general manager (business area head — Tumkur), BSNL. <\/p>\n
Kumar will succeed Sandeep Govil, whose tenure is ending on July 31, 2026. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on July 9, 2026, released a notification inviting applications from candidates to fill the post of Director-General at STPI. <\/p>\n
