NEW DELHI: Security, power, and talent-related constraints will need to be addressed to ensure that artificial intelligence (AI) can truly scale across the government and private sectors, according to a top executive at Reliance Jio.

“Because AI is at the edge and it multiplies the attack surfaces, security must now work at machine speed, not human speed. Sovereignty, as intelligence is distributed across borders and clouds, we need a compute that is controlled and owned by the agencies here,” said Shyam P Mardikar, president & group CTO mobility at Reliance Jio Infocomm.
