NEW DELHI: Despite rapid 5G deployment and significant investments, the technology has yet to deliver clearly differentiated value for consumers or adequate returns for operators, said A Robert J Ravi, Chairman of BSNL. Speaking on Friday, Ravi emphasised that the telecom sector must move beyond infrastructure expansion to focus on service quality, trust, and innovation to unlock the true potential of next-generation networks.
Ravi was delivering a keynote address at the ETTelecom 5G Congress 2026.
