Govt on Galgotias robodog controversy: Did not attempt to popularise fake claim of exhibitor at AI Summit

The government did not attempt to popularise a fake claim by an exhibitor at the AI Impact Summit 2026 and took prompt action against the concerned university, the Lok Sabha was informed on Wednesday.

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan also said that the responsibility regarding the nature of exhibits, representations made, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements rested with the respective exhibitors in the India AI Impact Expo.
