C2S-empanelled Siemens EDA to expand availability of chip design tools to boost skilling

NEW DELHI: Siemens EDA said it is working with the Centre and academic institutions to expand the availability of its tools and contribute to modernising curricula to align with the sector-specific subjects.

Siemens EDA was the first company to give access to its products to 100 colleges under the government of India’s Chips to Start-up (C2S) programme. Since then, it has extended the usage to 350 colleges, according to Ruchir Dixit, vice president & country manager at Siemens EDA.
