French president Emmanuel Macron, Bazil’s Lula to attend AI Impact Summit in Delhi

The AI Impact Summit on February 19-20 in the national capital is set to draw global leaders, including the presidents of France and Brazil and heads of state from Europe, the Caribbean and Central Asia, according to senior officials.

For Brazil’s president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, it will be a state visit which is expected to strengthen the Global South agenda, the officials said, adding that French president Emmanuel Macron’s visit will give a boost to partnership in defence and innovation.

Among the other visiting heads of state are those from Estonia, Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Serbia and Switzerland, the vice presidents of Guyana and Seychelles, and the prime ministers of Armenia, Spain, Greece, Bhutan, Croatia, Finland, the Netherlands, Mauritius and Kazakhstan.
