Russia blocks Meta-owned WhatsApp for defying local laws
Russia has blocked messaging platform WhatsApp for allegedly violating domestic laws, the Kremlin confirmed to news agency AFP on Thursday.
“Such a decision was indeed made and implemented,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said when asked about the reported ban.
