Foxconn opens EV R&D hub in central China’s Zhengzhou

Taiwan’s ‍Foxconn has ​begun operations at ⁠an electric vehicle research and development centre in the ‌central Chinese ‌city of Zhengzhou, the local ‌government said on Thursday.

The complex, located next to automaker BYD’s Zhengzhou factory, ​will focus ​on next-generation electric and electrical ‌architecture ‍as well ‍as smart driving technology, the Henan ‌provincial government said on its Wechat account, citing Li Guangyao, general manager of a Henan-based ‍Foxconn subsidiary.
