India-US deal paves way for $100 bn electronics trade, signals intent for bilateral pact: Industry
NEW DELHI: The India-US trade deal, announced late on Monday, paves the way for up to $100 billion opportunity for the electronics and semiconductor sectors, and signals a strong will in both economies to move towards signing a comprehensive bilateral agreement, said top industry executives and associations.
“US and India have complementary strengths. Both countries can co-create technologies and co-develop solutions that will benefit the world,” Union Minister of Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw wrote on microblogging platform X late on Monday.
