Union Budget 2026-27: Cutting-edge tech, AI applications can enhance governance, says Nirmala Sitharaman
NEW DELHI: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the Union Budget on Sunday, said artificial intelligence (AI) applications can improve governance in India.
“Cutting-edge technologies, including AI applications, can serve us as force multipliers for better governance,” Sitharaman said in her Union Budget 2026-27 speech.
The Finance Minister is presenting her ninth consecutive Budget.
