‘India’s AI and semiconductor foray marks crucial shift in employment landscape’
NEW DELHI: India is poised to see a heightened thrust in job creation, following the artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductor manufacturing-led activities leading to a ballooning demand for a relevant workforce, according to experts.
“India’s push into AI and semiconductor manufacturing marks a pivotal shift in the country’s industrial and employment landscape, with significant potential for job creation,” Nipun Sharma, CEO, TeamLease Degree Apprenticeship, told ET, adding that in order to realise the potential, India needs to effectively build a skilled and job-ready workforce.
