Bharti Airtel deploys over 2,400 new 5G sites in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh
Bharti Airtel said on Monday that it has deployed over 2,400 new fifth-generation or 5G sites across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh over the last 12 months to boost internet speeds and expand coverage for its subscribers.
The network expansion across 87 districts will offer reliable, high speed coverage to 36 million customers in cities, towns, and remote rural villages, said Airtel.
This will allow customers to enjoy smoother streaming, faster downloads, uninterrupted online work and learning, and more reliable digital payments.
Customers in key districts including Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Sagar, Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Dewas, Korba, Rajnandgaon and several others will directly benefit from this enhanced footprint, according to the nation’s second-largest telco.
The expanded coverage will enable seamless access to high-speed 5G services, supporting the daily digital needs of citizens, students, micro-businesses, and government institutions.
“Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are among Airtel’s most strategic markets, and this expansion reflects our unwavering commitment to connecting the length and breadth of Bharat,” said Ritesh Agrawal, CEO, Bharti Airtel for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
“Over the past year, we have deployed more than 2,400 new 5G sites, creating a robust digital backbone that will serve as a foundation for growth and innovation in these states,” he added.
