Jio sees ‘tremendous’ uptake for Gemini Pro plan; availability to be expanded: Anshuman Thakur

NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio’s Gemini Pro plan has been subscribed to by millions of users, and the telecom operator is benefiting from deeper intelligence about its fifth-generation (5G) network and consumption behavior, according to its senior executive.

“…the Google Gemini Pro, which has been made available to all of our 5G unlimited user base, and I have seen tremendous uptake. It is giving our customers something more on our network, but it is also giving us a lot of intelligence about what is going on the network, and what consumers are doing,” Anshuman Thakur, head of strategy at Reliance Jio Infocomm, said during Reliance Industries’ most recent post-earnings analyst call.
