‘Applied for H-1B eight times, never selected in lottery’: NRI man says he’s trying to move back to India

A 35-year-old NRI put out a post, narrating his struggle in the US, the country where he came to study almost 11 years ago, but now he wants to move back to India, as he says he never got lucky enough to be picked by the H-1B lottery ever. Sai, the man, said he did not get married because no one wants their daughters to marry someone who does not have a stable visa status. And now he is trying to move back to India.

In his post, Sai said he completed his master’s degree, followed it with another master’s and then pursued a PHD in the US.
