Instagram head Adam Mosseri says AI has ‘killed’ creativity, urges creators to make original content: Read full post
Instagram head Adam Mosseri has declared that the surge of artificial intelligence (AI) has effectively ‘killed’ traditional creativity and originality in the content that is posted online that threatens to erase the line between reality and fabrication. In a long, 20-slide message closing 2025, Mosseri admitted that the personal, authentic Instagram feed of the past has been “dead” for years, urging the content creators to go back to creating ‘amazing content’ like before.
He, however, said that the industry needs more AI tools because amid the “AI slop”, there’s “a lot of amazing AI content”.
