BSNL launches VoWiFi service nationwide
NEW DELHI: State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), on New Year, said it has rolled out Voice-over-WiFi (or VoWiFi) in all circles nationwide. With this, it joins the private telecom carriers Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi), which also offer WiFi calling.
“This advanced service is now available to all BSNL customers across every telecom circle in the country, ensuring seamless and high-quality connectivity even in challenging environments,” the telecom ministry said in an official statement.
