    Digital arrest: CBI probes Delhi firm that bought 20k SIMs & ‘fuelled’ cyber crime

    NEW DELHI: The CBI has filed an FIR and began investigations into the procurement of bulk SIM cards by a Delhi-based firm and their alleged use in SIM Box-enabled cyber crimes and digital arrests.

    The core allegation is the firm obtained more than 20,000 bulk SIM cards and sold them in breach of Department of Telecommunications guidelines.
