Meta hires longtime Apple design VP Alan Dye, read CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s ‘welcome note’
Facebook-parent Meta has announced the appointment of Alan Dye, one of Apple’s most influential design leaders. Dye will head the newly created creative studio inside its Reality Labs division. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg made this announcement on social media platform Threads. Dye who has been instrumental in shaping Apple’s design language since past two decades will now help Meta in defining the “next generation of products and experiences” as the company pushes deeper into AI-powered devices and spatial computing.
