Who made this mystery app: TMC questions EC’s new AI tool for voter checks in Bengal SIR drive

The ruling Trinamool in Bengal has questioned the Election Commission’s decision to use an artificial intelligence-based app for voters verification in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

“Now, EC says they will use an ‘AI app” during the SIR exercise in Bengal. As is typical there are zero details of who made this app and its functionality,” Trinamool Rajya Sabha MP Saket Gokhale said on Thursday.
