Nokia eyes 60% profit rise under new AI-centric strategy; mobile president Tommi Uitto to quit

NEW DELHI: Finland’s Nokia unveiled an artificial intelligence (AI)-centred business strategy, aiming to boost its annual core profit by nearly 60% over the next three years.
From January 1, 2026, the Finnish telecom gear maker will reorganise into two business units: network infrastructure (NI), dedicated AI and data centers, and mobile infrastructure, for core telecom activities.
