Apple told to dump ChatGPT and go for Elon Musk’s Grok, Tesla CEO responds with a ‘Down’ line

An X (formerly Twitter) user recently suggested that Apple should ‘dump’ OpenAI’s AI chatbot ChatGPT and replace it with Grok 4.1 to ‘fix’ Siri. Elon Musk responded to the post signalling his willingness for xAI-Apple collaboration. “It’s time for Apple to team up with xAI and actually fix Siri”, X Freeze @XFreeze – followed by Tesla CEO Elon Musk – wrote on X. “Replace that outdated, painfully dumb assistant with Grok 4. Siri deserves to be Superintelligent,” the user further added.

While the idea contrasts xAI’s ongoing lawsuit against Apple and OpenAI for alleged AI market collusion, Musk replied to the post saying “I’m down” hinting his openness to a possible xAI–Apple collaboration.
