MeitY approves 17 new electronic component projects worth Rs 7,172 crore under ECMS

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on Monday has approved 17 new projects with a total investment of about Rs 7,172 crore under the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS). The approved companies include Jabil Circuit India, Aequs Consumer Products, Uno Minda, ASUX Safety Components India, Zetfab India, TE Connectivity India, and Meena Electrotech. These companies manufacture important components used in electronic products, including camera modules, connectors, multi-layer PCBs, oscillators, and enclosures.
